Instructions

Preparation


  1. Lightly sand inside chip to smooth edges and ensure adhesion.
  2. Clean and dry surface.
  3. Obtain a small container to hold half of mixture for later use.
  4. Empty full contents of both bottles into mixing tray (use plastic package blister as mixing tray.)
  5. Mix thoroughly for one minute.
  6. Pour half of mixture into second container and store in freezer for later use.
  7. Let remaining mix stand for 30 minutes. Chip Fix thickens the longer it stands.

Application


  1. Use brush to dab a light coat into chip.
  2. Smooth any runs using damp paper towel.
  3. Wait 45 minutes before applying second coat using clean brush (for best results apply multiple light coats on vertical surfaces to avoid runs.)
  4. If more coats are needed, clean brush between applications using lacquer thinner, wait 4 hours, remove stored mix from freezer, allow 10 minutes to warm to room temperature and apply additional coat.
  5. Allow 45 minutes before applying final application.
  6. Maximum working time: 6 hours in freezer, one hour at room temperature.

Dry Time


Allow 24 hours before exposing to water, 5 days before cleaning with a non-abrasive cleaner.
