Important: Use Caulk Finishing Tool immediately after application, before the caulk or sealant begins to harden or cure.
Preparation: Select your desired caulk bead size. Your Caulk Finishing Tool is preformed for a 1/8” bead size. For 3/16” or 5/16” bead sizes, trim along the bead size indicator lines on the bottom of your Caulk Finishing Tool. To trim, hold Caulk Finishing Tool with the wedge area facing downward and carefully cut away from your body.
Directions:
- Grip the Caulk Finishing Tool with the texturized handle in your palm and place your thumb above the wedge area.
- Place the Caulk Finishing Tool at one end of the application area and tilt the tool away from both surfaces at a 30° angle.
- Push the tool forward along the application line, thus leaving an even caulk bead.
- As needed, remove excess caulk from the tool.
Reuse: Store the Caulk Finishing Tool for future projects.
