It is absolutely necessary that the entire application area be thoroughly cleaned with household rubbing alcohol before application.
- Before cutting or removing release film from adhesive, position the strip along or around the area to be sealed to determine correct “fit”. We suggest you begin and end at the least visible points.
- Measure again, this time marking the end point on the Fixture Trim release film with a pen or pencil, and cut Fixture Trim at that point.
- Remove only about two inches of release film and press solidly against surface, forming a smooth seal. Avoid stretching product during installation.
- Continue removing release film two inches at a time, pressing firmly until entire length of Fixture Trim has been applied.
