Waste Away Paint Hardener is one of our easiest products to use. Just add Waste Away crystals to leftover paint or spills, stir, wait, and dispose. It's that simple!
- Add Waste Away crystals to leftover paint or spills.
- Stir paint. It will thicken as you stir. Let sit 15-20 minutes. (If paint is excessively thick, a cup of water can be added to aid mixing.) Paint turns to solidified gel.
- Dispose of paint in accordance with local regulations.
Tips:
- Dump solidified paint onto newspaper, wrap, and dispose of in garbage receptacle.
- Recycle your empty paint cans. Plastic paint cans are recyclable in some areas – check with your local regulations.
- Remove paint can lid if throwing in trash, so sanitation workers can see it is hardened and will not reject pickup.
- Use to retain spills in your home or garage and reduce clean-up.
- Use to dry up bilges or leaks.
- California, Washington, and Minnesota require special handling.
